Rock-Able is Powerful Program, filled with emotion and great original rock songs!

If allowed , at the end of each assembly Jesse and the Leftstronger Band sign their CDs for the students who have pre-ordered or buy on-site (schools are provided with an order form/flyer included with the confirmation letter).

The flyer is personalized to the school with the date of Jesse's visit. Schools distribute the flyer prior to his visit so children order a head of time or bring $10 to buy the CD that day. They can also buy other Leftstronger Merchandise-Just like a real rock club!!

Assemblies are usually scheduled back to back (with the 15 minute break) but can also be scheduled split before and after lunch. You should also consider the “Lunch With Mr. Jesse” option for a small group of students.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO RECORDING:
Taking photographs and making video recordings for school use (such as personal photos for yearbooks & school websites, etc.) is allowed. Commercial Photography and Video Recording for duplication or resale is not allowed.

PRESS COVERAGE:

Schools often invite their local newspaper to visit during the event. This is a great opportunity to show some of the cool things going on at your school!

About Jesse Magee
Jesse was born into a family who loved music. He is an upbeat, easy going and loving 24 year old whose musical career developed rapidly during his teen years when he discovered that he excelled in many types of musical endeavors despite his disabilities and other personal challenges.

As a little boy, he became interested in playing the drums, listening to blues music and practicing the vocals and lyrics for every Seattle grunge band that came on the scene. Later, he began performing songs at local coffee houses and asking local bands if they would mind a walk-on. The crowds roared for this young man who shook the venue without any warning!

At 16 years old, he was already an accomplished drummer even though his drum instructor said he could not play without proper use of his right side. As a self-taught drummer, he was the envy of his peers and now one of the best drum instructors for children of all ability levels, specializing in children with disabilities.

The guitar playing began in his teens, which he played upside down (and without the fancy finger work) helped him to write incredible catchy soulful songs with lots of hooks. As a teen with Cerebral Palsy (and during some lonely years) he kept writing more and more original songs, practiced singing and perfected his craft. With now over 60 original songs written with power and emotion, Jesse has performed live many times within the Baltimore music scene.

Jesse’s vocal range highlights him as an extremely versatile vocalist who pays precise tribute to his favorite artists like no one in the nation.  His voice is often compared to Chris Cornell of Sound Garden and Audio Slave, Layne Staley of Alice In Chains, Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam and Scot Stapp of Creed.

Jesse perseveres through personal challenges of being legally blind and having cerebral palsy on his right side. See http://www.leftstronger.com

About Leftstronger

Leftstronger is an amazing band that performs all original music in the style of Alice in Chains, Shinedown, Creed and Soundgarden. Leftstronger's music combines all the elements of great, radio-friendly rock and roll: catchy hooks, hard-driving rhythms and strong vocal harmonies. Singer/song writer, Jesse Magee uses his amazing vocal range to dramatic effect and has been said to be the best singer on the East Coast.

Jesse's songs all have meaning, so they resonate with fans after only one play. The memorable melodies are enhanced by the other band members: Jay, Tony and Eric.

Jesse and his guitarist performed in front of 60,000 people for the largest Earth Day Festival in the nation at the National Mall in DC. Leftstronger has performed many times at excellent venues in the Baltimore/DC Area, including headlining Rams Head LIVE! …always with an incredible response!

Leftstronger has completed recording their first full-length CD entitled "So Close," which was released in March 2010.
